Therapy in San Luis Obispo for Individuals, Couples, and Families
Find Clarity, Connection, and Inner Peace

Hello, I'm Alex.
I believe that healing happens in relationship.
Many individuals and couples reach a point where life appears full and successful on the outside, yet internally things feel strained, overwhelming, or disconnected. Responsibilities continue to grow, stress builds over time, and the ways we have learned to cope no longer seem to work as well as they once did. I provide therapy for individuals and couples in San Luis Obispo who are navigating anxiety, relationship strain, and the emotional impact of long-term stress.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and used to carrying significant responsibility. Over time, however, constant pressure can lead to burnout, persistent overthinking, or patterns of conflict and distance in relationships. Clients often come to therapy feeling emotionally drained, stuck in the same arguments or internal loops, or unsure how to move forward despite having accomplished many of the things they once set out to achieve.
My work often focuses on anxiety, relationship challenges, and the emotional effects of responsibility, performance, and long-term stress. Therapy provides a space to slow down, better understand the patterns that are shaping your experiences, and begin making thoughtful, intentional changes that support a more steady and connected life.
I take a collaborative and structured approach that balances insight with practical tools. Sessions are focused and reflective, helping you understand your internal patterns, communicate more clearly, and respond to challenges with greater clarity and stability. The goal is not only relief from immediate stress, but the development of deeper understanding, stronger relationships, and meaningful forward movement.
